Better Than I Expected After Reading Other ReviewsNov 18, 2009 Pros: Very pretty, fairly easy to put together (1.5 hrs. with two people), good height, outer parts are sturdy enough, arrived very quickly and in great condition, comes with a strap (albeit a cheap strap) to secure baby
Cons: Drawers themselves aren't very sturdy, the mattress pad that comes with it is a throw away
Well Built, Good SizeNov 18, 2009 We received the item in good condition as it was well packaged. The directions for assembly were clear, so my husband was able to assemble it pretty easily (although he *is* good at that sort of thing). It's a very useful size for our relatively small house. I love the changing table on top with the decorative & functional (safety) bars. The drawers are pretty spacious for pre-fab. We were impressed that most of it was real wood & only side & back panels were pressed wood. The color is much to our satisfaction as well. Overall, we are very pleased with this online purchase which is far more than we can say with many of our recent purchases (even local).
Dissapointed Oct 15, 2009 After I ordered this in white, it arrived in Ebony. When I called back the seller they said it was my fault and that I ordered the wrong color. Seller also said that they could not get the white from DaVinci and that they could receive it back in their warehouse but I had to pay the shipping. I had to pay $86.00. to send this back to them, besides having to pay for shipping their ridiculous restocking fee was 50% ot the dresser price. I did not even open the box when it arrived, I sent if back in pristine condition. In summary, I lost $200.00 and got no product. After this, I ordered the white one from Target.
Great changer/dresser combo for the priceSep 07, 2009 We ordered this dresser for our first baby. It arrived quickly with all pieces included, no damage at all. My husband put it together in minutes and its beautiful. On drawback is the wood panel that sits under the changing pad & lines the bottom of each drawer is very thin. We estimate we will be able to use it as a changer for the first year, and then we will go to the floor, which is fine. Overall though, its great quality for the price - you get what you pay for! We opted for a higher quality glider and crib, and are fine with this changer.

Poor qualityNov 01, 2008 We had to buy this in a hurry because the product we had wanted (and ordered from Amazon) suddenly became unavailable. What a poor choice! The back panel is not even the right _size_, so there's a gaping hole in the back of the dresser. Tells you a lot about the manufacturer's quality control. The whole thing feels flimsy and cheap. I'd be worried about putting a baby on top of it, it feels ready to fall apart at any minute. My husband put a dent into this thing with his _nail_ -- exactly what is it made out of?? I wish I had known that it was made of this kind of cheap stuff, it certainly shouldn't be for the price of it. Bottom line -- waste of money.
