I love the Davinci crib but the dresser drawers arent of great quality and have come loose already. The company wants me to send them pictures and a copy of the receipt just to get replacement casters.

I bought the matching Parker crib in pine as well, and the two look very nice together in the nursery. The dresser itself is not all made out of pine, the drawers are made of some really thin material (wood?). It took my husband 2 hours to put together, so not that bad.

I am expecting my first child and had read the reviews and did not want to buy this piece but my mother insisted that she buy it. the matching change table is much sturdier then the dresser but the dresser is a nice piece for a newborns room althought i dont think it will be able to handle an older child.

The item arrived in a good condition; took about an hour and a half to assemble.
I bought a DaVinci Parker Crib a few weeks before, so I expected the dresser would be made of the same type of wood - but it is not; only top, bottom, and front drawer pieces, and a few crossbars are made of the same solid wood as the crib (not sure if it is oak, but anyway); the dresser side panels are NOT made of solid wood; also, drawers' sides are made of some VERY light, definitely non-oak wood and that wood breaks extremely easily - it took a light turn of screwdriver to literally break the side through. Now I have to glue pieces together. For the price I would expect something much more solid. Should have looked at IKEA.

Item showed up after about a week. Packaged really well and in great condition. Sturdy, larger than we thought. Gorgeous and my husband only took an hour to put together. We bought the match crib and changing table too it's all lovely.
