Hard to put together for one personAug 12, 2008 Putting together this futon on your own is a bear of a job. If you can, get somebody to help you. I would think that applies to pretty much all wooden futons, though. You need three hands at least and some parts weigh quite a lot.
One hole was misaligned, so I had to drill a new one. For me it was on the front plank that keeps the mattress from gliding forward. Drilling in this soft wood was not a problem.
The cover is a very simple, rough cotton cover, not brown as shown in the photo. A queen-size, fitted sheet covers the futon well.
It looks nice in the room and is comfortable to sit on once you've put it together.

Nice PieceJan 28, 2008 This is a nice piece of funiture. It doesn't say in the description but the cover doesn't come with it. That wasn't a problem with me though. One of the holes was drilled in the wrong place on a back slat, also not a problem for me might be for someone though. Very easy to put together and takes stain nice. Very comfey too.
