A ridiculous disasterJan 08, 2009
To all those who are considering buying this product: DON'T! When my order arrived, the box was made of flimsy cardboard and was falling apart. The delivery man had a hard time getting the box out of his truck, as one end of the box had come open, and boards were already sliding out. When we opened the box up, we discovered that 2 boards were seriously scratched, and 4 boards had broken completely.
Of course I refused the offer, and when the delivery man tried to get the box back onto his cart, it fell apart completely, and he had to carry the boards back to his truck a few pieces at a time.
The long and the short of it is that they don't package this product well enough to survive the shipping process. Do your pocketbook a favor, and find another entertainment center. You'll be glad you did in the long run when you get to keep it for many years, instead of tossing it out when it disintegrates.
Update: Nearly two months later, I'm still waiting for a refund for this purchase!
