I bought this for my daughter's new baby...she loves it and finds it very handy when visiting or shopping too.I'd highly recommended this product...wish I'd had one for my little ones...I even love the name : "Moses Basket", don't you ?(It's a nice, clean place to have for your baby in doctor's waiting room too!)

I received this basket as a gift and I am thrilled with it. It is so pretty and handy! It is lightweight and convienient, I will be able to move it through the house so my newborn can sleep where I am working. It's convient enough to load in the car and take along when visiting, so the baby can have a familiar spot to chill out and take a nap when he's over-stimulated or just plain sleepy.
One con to it is that the hood velcro needs to be watched or the hood wants to come off. But other than that, I love it and would've payed the price for it myself!

This basket is very beautiful. However, the wood seems to be splintering in some places. I need to really go over in and inspect it thoroughly again but, at this point I'd feel a little nervous putting a child in it. The basket is exactly as pictured and the seller shipped it promptly. I just am not sure if I should have expected some splintering from this type of sleeper or not. I thought that since it was supposed to be for infants that it would meet certain basic guidelines.

This moses basket is a "godsend." I wish they had these when my children were babies so I could have used it. I got this for a gift for my best friends second child. It is fantastic, the baby can sleep in it where ever mom is. It's easy to take in the car and the baby has her "own" bed no matter where you are. Plus it can be moved easily while baby is sleeping without them waking. A bassinette or portable crib is to much to move around if baby is sleeping, and when you take them with you while traveling they are bigger and harder to carry plus the baby is comfortable sleeping in the moses basket no matter where you are, because it's not something new to her, she is used to sleeping in it. A super gift.

Admittedly, I am a no frills type so a dresser drawer would have been fine but this option is convenient, easily portable around the house and quite cute. So far (one week into it's use) it seems quite durable and certainly the new baby seems quite happy to sleep in her bassinet. Finally, the price can't be beat. There are many much more expensive routes one can take, but those dollars saved will be put to good use elsewhere and the chic factor will not be missed by the newborn who isn't sleeping in a $1200 crib!
