Paid someone to take it away!!Feb 14, 2009 I bought this couch (and a matching love seat)from a local retailer. Needless to say, it was a waste of money, space, and time. I had it for about 2 years, and the bottom of one of the couches fell out when I sat on it, and I only weigh 120 lbs!!
After about 4 months of owning this couch, I noticed that the fabric became very loose and the cushions never softened up... except the fact that they had butt imprints in the "main sitting areas".
It eventually got to the point where my guests would joke about their legs going numb from sitting on it, and that they would rather sit on the floor!! This couch is attractive at first (which is why I bought it), but I ended up having to PAY someone to come and get it out of my house! It was an absolute waste of money, and I feel bad for whoever ends up with it! It would be better off as fire wood.
The only good thing I got out of this couch is the lesson of comfort and quality over looks.

VERY STYLISHAug 09, 2008 I had seen this on HGTV and searched the internet till I found it. I grant you I didn't buy it from amazon, because they weren't selling the 5-piece set like Sears was. But it is the exact same thing. Now I wished that I had bought the Chair and ottoman as well. Trust me I got it in my wish list to get later on. As I had stated before, I wanted the same feel that they gave someone on HGtv. I was looking for a Asian contemporary look and I believe I have achieved that look. Alot of pieces to put together, but the end results makes it worth the while. Good for first time furniture. Very modern, stylish, and comfortable to sit on.

Not worthy $399Jun 13, 2008 Not worthy. It stands on five legs. Fifth leg is in the middle to support the week frames. Structurally poor design thin wooden frames. You can feel springs in the cushion after 4 weeks. Makes noise when people (160lb weight) sit on it.
If amazon allows me I would rate it zero stars.

Shoddy craftsmanshipJan 07, 2007 I've owned this sofa for less than a year and it completely fell apart. The seat of the sofa is supported by a wooden frame with a nylon webbing stretched taught and stapled over it. We had 4 people of reasonable weight on the sofa (something we've done numerous times before) and it collapsed out from underneath us. The four parts of the seat frame are held in with small little dowels that rest on a less than one inch lip around the outside of the couch frame.
The sofa is designed to look nice but does not hold up well to average use. For $400 a sofa should last at least a year of moderate use of people only sitting on it!!! You're better off going to IKEA or some other retailer that spends as much time in the basic structural design as they do in the appearance of the couch.

It just sucks!Nov 26, 2005 I bought this sofa about 6 months ago. Already, I can feel all the springs in the sofa. The springs croak loudly everytime someone sits on the sofa or gets up from it. I have contacted Target 3 times. They do not have any information on the manufacturer, and warranty on this product. So, if you buy this product, you are on your own. It is better to stay away from this product at all costs.
