 Great bed but was missing a piece.Mar 02, 2010
This bed is very sturdy and I expect it to last my son for several years. It looks great and is easy to assemble too. The only problem is that it is missing a support leg and when I contacted Powell to get a replacement piece they said it is on backorder with no estimate on when it will be in stock. So, for now, the bed only has one support leg in the middle. We may have to make our own since we don't know how long it will take to get the replacement.

I did quite a lot of research before I bought the monster bunk bed. I was opting for a wood set because I thought it would look nicer. But, my son who is 5 yrs old really wanted the monster bed because it looked "cool" and matched his car theme in his room. So, we ordered it from Amazon. It came within 7 days after ordering. Great service! Very easy to put together. This is a VERY sturdy bed. Probably sturdier than a wood bunk bed and can easily handle the romping around that my son likes to do. It costs a lot less than the wood bunk bed which also made it more appealing. Now, we want to look into the matching pieces like the 4 drawer chest, etc. I would highly recommend this bed. Its more suitable for a boy than a girl. It is very heavy and sturdy and will last a lifetime!

Love this bunk bedApr 29, 2009
I had bought this bunk for my two boys who are 11 and 3. My little has not slept on it yet but he has not probably getting up and down the top bunk. It is very sturdy even with all 3 of my kids on the top. The bed does not squeak or make any rattle noises like other metal beds I've seen. I would higly recommend this bed to friends and family.

We bought this bed for my 5 year old son. He wanted bunk beds that went with the race car theme in his room. He loved the chrome panels. The bed is esay to assemble and really cool looking. He absolutely loves it!
