My in laws bought us this dresser for our first baby. I just put this together (at 8 months pregnant) with some heavy lifting help from my husband and it took about 2 hours. Maybe it's because we're engineers, but I didn't have any problems with the instructions.
The dresser is of a lot nicer quality then I expected, very thick and sturdy. I love how it looks. We paired it with the matching crib although the crib is black.
Only thing I didn't understand was the shallowness of the drawers. It makes no sense since the door of the drawers are so deep, you would think they would take advantage of all that space. Otherwise, we're in love with this dresser!

Wow, where do I begin about this product!
I did a ton of research over a few months time period, looking for a 3 piece nursery set at a reasonable price in a dark wood. Seemed everywhere I found a set I liked, it was either too expensive, or the company didn't have all 3 matching pieces in stock! I checked the typical Babies R Us store and other baby stores, but just couldn't find a great buy. We are on our last child and don't plan to re-use the set, so we didn't need a fancy one to last several kids and 15 years.
I read other reviews and have to agree with several points reviewers made...Stork Craft customer service is horrible. Phone lines seem to be constantly busy, I have emailed them and got an automated reply, and have filled out a numerous missing part requests and got nothing!
Their products are missing pieces and the directions are HORRIBLE! Might as well not include any instructions on putting these items together as they are so confusing, have so many pieces, and don't have great detail. My husband is very good at putting things together and had trouble with this furniture!
We've had this for about 6 months now, and seems to be holding up nicely so far. It looks nice in the nursery, and didn't cost a fortune. The design is great - I love the drawers, the door w/ a shelf, and the changing table (to be used as a dresser later on) is a great all in one combo! Depending on your needs, this may be a great buy, or a nightmare.

Knobs only last two yearsMay 28, 2009
I like this dresser / changing table, but one of the knobs has come out in less than two years of use. The wooden knobs are only held there with thick screws and one knob is now stripped. I'm hoping some glue will fix it, but wanted to give others a heads up. I called the manufacturer and there's only a one year warranty so they want to charge $15-20 to replace the knobs.

DO buy this, don't believe all the negatives...Mar 27, 2009
I bought this dresser because it was the closest matching color and style to my baby's crib. I was very worried about all the bad reviews about how "cheap" and how "difficult to assemble" it was. Well, I have to say, I bought this dresser put it together by myself w/ not one problem. The directions were very self explainatory, and if you have put together pieces of furniture before, you should not have a problem at all. All the drawers lined up perfectly, there was no hardware missing, and no need to "drill new holes" what so ever. It is very sturdy, very thick, and very nice! The drawers are lacking in depth, however the front of the drawers are very big. So you can pile clothes pretty high, just won't be much support on the sides. It is baby furniture after all. It is also much larger than I expected, a definite plus! It is beautiful and I am not worried what so ever about using this as a changing table for her. I am now on my mission to review it on as many sites as possible so no one else fears buying this as much as I did. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

 Overall, a nice little piece of furniture for young ones.Feb 12, 2009
We purchased this dresser and a matching armoire for our second child's nursery, which has no closet. This dresser was delivered in a timely manner and arrived in good condition. It took my husband about 2 hours to put together. The only complaint he had was that the pieces were not labled as illustrated in the instructions. Several pieces had no labels at all, so he could have been done sooner. The finished product is nice. We bought a Storkcraft crib and another dresser three years ago for my son, and it's lasted pretty well with few scratches and dents. The drawers are not very deep but work fine for baby clothes. We got that the matching armoire as well. Same problem with the labels and I was disappointed that it didn't come with a hanging rod, but we bought a shower curtain tension rod that works fine.
