 Needs to be heavier, but, still a good valueJul 30, 2009
I just received this table yesterday and it arrived in mint condition. I'm expecting to get the lounge chairs in a couple of days. I agree with the other postitings that this does look very much like what sells at Restoration Hardware. Its very stylish and has that "designer" look to it. However, I was expecting that this item would be heavier. I prefer the heavier furniture since I use it frequently and have purchased several sets that have not lasted. Its pretty clear that the quality of the patio furniture at Restoration hardware is significantly better, however, it is also more than double or triple the price. I'm curious to see how this patio set performs over the next several months. Assumming this set can last 5 years or more, I do think it is a very good value. If you're contemplating this set, I would suggest that you give it a try. Take a small risk and order 1 or 2 items to see for yourself.

Great coffee table for a patio or porchApr 20, 2009
I bought this coffee table along with the Strathwood three-seat patio sofa, and I am very happy with it. It arrived already assembled and in perfect condition and QUICKLY. I think it was two days between ordering it and its arrival (sofa took longer). The table takes up a lot of space, though, and I wish I'd done a better job measuring our porch for it. It fits, but it cuts it close. I also wish the corners were more curved. They're 90 degree angles and kind of sharp. We got it so we could entertain our extended family outside, and that family includes a lot of little kids. We bought foam "bumpers" for the corners when they're over, and they look awful, but I'm nervous about one of the kids falling and hurting him/herself on the sharp corners. Overall very happy with it though!

Love the coffee table . Light enough for me to carry but not too light that I'd be worried it'd blow away. The packaging is crazy though but I guess that's how you get a flawless shipment.

Beautiful table, well packaged, great finish. Only 1/4 of the price of a restoration hardware table but looks just like it was bought from restoration hardware.
