Love it!Feb 14, 2010 I wanted to buy a chaise lounge forever and couldn't believe it when I saw this one for the price. When I got it I was even more pleased! I love the wood, looks great, and I love the pull out drink rack, adds to it alot! I live in Las Vegas so I am not expecting it to rain alot, but from reading older reivews I am being cautious of the fact it could bleed onto my patio, so I went to Home Depot and bought a bottle of teak oil, I hope it works. I have no complaints and I would say definately purchase this chair if you are debating. I will write another review when the chair makes it through the hot, sunny vegas summer. So far it's been a great buy! Oh, and I wanted to add the assembly is very simple! Enjoy!
Love Love Love It!Jan 18, 2010 I purchased 3 chaises in the early spring of 2009. We used them every day all summer long, dragging them often from poolside to deck and back. They held beautifully. Wheels are as good as new without any whobble to them at the end of the summer. The sliding tray was used every day, since my hubby is lefthanded and I am righthanded, and our little daughter just liked sliding them in and out. My husband is 6'3 and all though he wished it would be just a tet larger, even he was overall quiet happy with the purchase. Yes, it took some time for him to put them together but as I said, it was all worth it. We got really great vibrant pillows in Cost Plus. they were pricey, almost as much as we paid for the chases, but the overall look and quality could not be beat. Besides, at $89 per chaise, I think we got a bargain!
I highly reccomend this item. It is cheaper to purchase in the winter months as prices tend to go up during the high season.
Good Luck!

Great patio chaise for our deckDec 25, 2009 AFTER the fact - purchasing two of the Strathwood chaise lounge chairs I read the reviews. Many were happy but some were not at all happy. to those that had the red dye run onto their patios, I have had ours outside since getting them, in pouring rain, and not one time has any dye come out of these chairs. Also some said had to run to Home Depot for the right screws or tools that were not put into the shipment, we had no problem and it was very easy to put together. Our two chairs are extremely heavy. Very solid workmanship and not one thing missing nor were they damaged in shipment. Everything about these chairs says quality and where in the world are you going to find chairs like this for this money? Around my area, nowhere. I am very happy with this purhase and want anyone searching to know that. I would recommend these chairs to anyone.
Good for the priceOct 05, 2009 Arrived un-damaged. Easy to assemble.
But as others have noted-
Does not sit straight up.
This is not teak. So it has a finish that must be somewhat maintained.
Also, its not that long, so for tall people, it may be an issue.
For the money seems very worth while, just know what you are getting. This is not an equivelent to a $300 chaise.
But for roughly 150(including a cushion and cover), seems a good deal for a wooden chaise.
Some problemsSep 29, 2009 Bought a Strathwood chaise lounge for my porch and it arrived promptly and in good condition. Fairly easy to assemble and is comfortable with a pad which I also purchased. It has some design problems, however. The seat will not adjust to sit up fully. All the levels of the seat back are in a fairly prone position. If you want to just bask in the sun or sleep, it is okay but to sit up with your back supported and talk to friends, there is a real problem. My husband modified the chair by placing some stops to hold the back of the seat upright but it is not easy to adjust with the modifications. I am not sure I would buy this product again without a design change.
