item was as picture showned. the directions for hanging were for wooden rack. still easy to hang would recommend product. this regardin mental stemware rack.

 Wine rack for our wine cabinetOct 28, 2009
We ordered this wine rack to hang under the lower shelf on top of a buffet unit we had purchased to use as a wine/liquor storage cabinet. The wine rack is solidly made and fit just perfectly under the lowest shelf. We did have to add spacers to drop it down far enough for the wine glasses to slide through as the shelf has a 1 1/2 inch lip that hangs down. I am pleased how it turned out -- having the wine glasses on display really adds to the piece. I also puchased a small up light with a low voltage bulb -- at night, the wine glasses sparkle -- couldn't be more perfect.

I love this, it looks great in my kitchen, very sophisticated, it is very handy and I would buy it again. My only complaint is hat it would be nice if there was a little more space between glasses. I can fit 2 glasses on each spot and my wine glasses fit fine but I can't hang my margarita glasses next to each other because they touch, need just a little bit more space. But I would still buy it again!

I did a lot of searching online to find the perfect hanging stemware rack that would accomodate my oversize balloon shaped wine glasses. This is the one! The rack is well made and extremely easy to install. On each row, I can fit 2 extra large wine glasses and a chamapgne flute. Look no further if you are looking for a classy and functional way to store your stemware.

This wine rack looks really nice, installs easily and takes up virtually no space with its under counter design. Installation took about 5 minutes with a cordless screwdriver and 6 provided screws. The front-to-back fit is fairly snug, so if your cabinets have any of those plastic stapled in support brackets you will have to remove/move them first.
