Storage BenchFeb 05, 2009 Product was priced well. When finally assembled it is a solid piece of functional furniture. Engineering and assembly instructions leave something(s) to be desired.

Wood bench with storageApr 26, 2008 I put this item together all by myself under an hour. Putting in the doors probably is the hardest part if you work alone. Try to use an extra help for easier assembly. I love the color, love the size, love the entire product. I use it for storing shoes and as a decorative bench in the entryway.

nice seatMar 29, 2008 The assembled bench is great. The finish and material are good.
The problem is with the assembly due to the manufacturing quality. The milling on the doors isn't accurate (i.e. deep enough) for the hinges, so you have to wrestle with the doors to get them in place. The second problem is that the screws for the knobs are an eighth of an inch too short. BTW the rest of the assembly was pretty straight forward, but it would help to have another person to hold the pieces together.

Don't Even THINK About buying this garbage.Feb 29, 2008 Worst furniture product I've ever bought, and I've bought a few. Horrible fit and finish. It was obviuosly built by some untrained monkeys somewhere. Correct that; untrained monkeys would have still constructed it better. Obviously some foreign made junk being palmed off as good furniture. Makes IKEA look like Ethan Allen. If you really, really have to buy this then you'd be better off taking your cash and shredding it becuase your going to end up doing what I did--throwing it into the trash can. I didn't even try to re-engineer it since it was such a poor quality item. Maybe if they charged $2.00 for it and came and assembled it for you; then I'd contemplate it. Otherwise, save your money and buy something else.
