Mixed feelingsMar 08, 2010 I gave this four stars because of the price, if it was rated just on quality I would give it a two. The instructions are a single sheet with one picture which is more like an exploded diagram. The panels and metal had scratches on them in the box. When you assemble this do not tighten down the bolts for the bottom half until you have it on a hard flat surface, this will address the wobbly complaints. Also the glass rack will drop your glasses. I fixed this by taking a small amount of electrical tape and wrapping it around the ends of the glasses rack. This acts as a bump stop and saves your glasses. The complaints about the screws poking through the table top is because there are two different sizes of screws. They look the same and are only 3/16 of an inch apart so it is easy to use the wrong one. This does look nice assembled but it is flimsy. The wine racks can be removed since they just drop in but you need them for more support, they make a difference. Also the bottom rack is very flimsy, don't plan on any thing very heavy on the bottom.
was every thing i was looking forFeb 06, 2010 This rack was everything i was lookig for fits great in front of my window looks nice.
i could not find anything like it in stores arond here.
Great as temporary furniture maybe...Feb 03, 2010 I have only had this wine rack in use for maybe 2 days, and already there are some issues. One, the assembly was painful. There were no instructions, just a difficult diagram to read and the pieces/screws don't really fit together right. This leads us to problem two: the entire unit is a bit wobbly and unstable. My wine rack sits on hardwood floor and we still had to put something under the front two legs to even it out. By the next morning, we realized this was not enough because when someone walked passed it, a wine glass slide off the glass rack and shattered. I am hoping we have stabilized it enough for it to be of use. It is fitting for the size of my apartment, but if you're looking for something to be lasting, I'd invest in something a bit sturdier; something that might survive a generation or two. My next wine rack will definitely be of higher quality.
Wood metal wine rack! WOWNov 16, 2009 Love it, fit nicely where I wanted it to go. However I think my floor boards are loose and I have lost several glasses due to them sliding off if the room is walked heavily in or if the movement in the room is great. Other than that it looks nice and serves the purpose I wanted
